Keep at it, this has potential.

Try observing some Looney Toons cartoons closely if that's the kind of animation you're going for. This particular animation was weak. I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news but at least there's lots of room for improvement. You seem to have decent flash skills and the potential to churn out a good movie, you just need better writing or premise(s) for your flash animation(s) that's all bro, you should do good if you have that.

Also, nice name Mek1985, that was my year too :P

Mek1985 responds:

thanks, but i wasn't really rooting for front page with this bowl movement

This can't be the clock crew I've heard about.

I thought the clock crew was supposed to be good? This clearly isn't the original stuff if that is the case. This flash required less-than-nothing in terms of effort and skill. Blam this useless waste of NG space and save the NG server a couple KB.

OrangeClock responds:

jesus christ you're a faggot

Thank God for sprites.

Ah, gotta love sprite movies. Check mine out if you ever get the chance Karma. Anyway, the huge metroid and huge goomba were hillarious. I found your movie to be lacking some depth, but then again, it was only for comical purposes (hence the "outtakes" title) so it serves it's purpose and got a few good chuckles out of me. Although I never played Kendo Rage myself, I hope you enjoyed the game as much as I enjoyed watching this flash.

KarmaX responds:

Thank you, I think i will check out your movies. And thanks for the kind words, even though my personal thoughts on this flash was that it could have been better. But i'm still glad you enjoyed it. ^_^

Looks promising. I'll keep an eye out for this.

Looks like a promising series, just don't bring any ICP shit into this, it looks like you might have some sort of ICP influence, I hope not, you look like a more intelligent artist than that. Anyway bro, keep up the good work, I'm looking foward to it.

PureCarnage responds:

Sorry no "I-see-pee" influence. Check my Banned Down South animation if you want to see that influence.

I think for a series, it will be totally differnet, I have big plans.

Nice work astronautbutter.

Right off the bat I fell in love with this movie when I heard Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin. Love the paper mario style. Birdo's voice is very well-done dude, sounds just like she does in the game. The sign in the store above the clerk was really smart too, I gotta give you credit on that. I've never seen a paper Wario, that was nice for a change although the Wario voice needs a bit of improvement, it doesn't sound gruffy enough. Magickoopa's voice was probably the least-accurate though,if you heard how he sounds in Tetris Attack, he sounds like a higher-pitched gruffy Wario. Deux Ex Machina would apply to Yoshi if Yoshi was a God. But he isn't a God, or maybe you're trying to say something there >.> Anyway, Loved the Quagmire in t he end too dude, and the credits (great music once again). This deserves its award(s).

osborneanimation responds:

Countered. Deus Ex Machina translates to something God related, but its generally defined in literature as something saving the day out of nowhere, in a sense. As far as the MagiKoopa's voice, its technically Kamek, who is a bit more special than other MagiKoopas, and either way, I gave the role to another voice actor and told him to play it as annoying as possible. But thanks for the comments.

Wow, actually dude this is pretty good.

Although I usually expect the worxe from flash movies made in a short time frame and out of boredom, yours certainly surprised me. You have very fluid flash skills, I'll give you that right off the bat. Your choice of music was very fitting with the action. Your movie had tons of randomness and originality in it. The bit where the hand rings the door bell and the door bell is actually a door opening one after another and another was very original, as was the bit with the line moving across the screen to the beat of the drums. If you make this kind of unique flash when you're bored, I imagine the kind of good stuff you churn out when you use your skills to their full extent. I have to go see your other submissions after this.

hmmm...
ur review would seem u gave me more than a 5 but still
i enjoyed reading ur review,
thanks!

Lol just in time for the holidays.

Really nice movie. That turkey looked like he was on some mean steroids. It was well-drawn too, nice job.

TOXIC-BOMB responds:

Yayyyyyy. Ya, I wanted to get SOMETHING out for a holiday... I missed Halloween :(

Even though I don't consider this flash...

... it's still pretty good. Very entertaining to look at, and original too, I'll give you that much. But this kind of movie doesn't specifically fall under what I'd call flash. Hell, claymation barely even makes it borderline for me. Your movie was very fun to watch though none, the less.

DanAbnormal responds:

It's not flash, but look at -knox-. He's got tonnes of stuff that isn't flash. In that sense it's unfair, just because he's -knox-.

Tim, awesome job.

Great song, with great animation = great movie. You claymation is perhaps the best I've ever seen, even better than Gumby lol. No seriously dude, the claymation was as smooth as can be, the music fit in nicely with the dancing, and the hand intervening during the movie gave it a nice sense of humor. Great job bro, I can see why people request you do more claymation.

GAMECUBICLE responds:

Thanks! I kinda hate the Gumbi movies though... The dude who makes them isnt really... that... nice in responses to reviews... Well.
Thanks for the review!

Da.

I'll give you a 9 on style because I haven't seen something this original in... ever. The animation in this is crisp and clear and trippy as hell dude, I don't know hwat kind of animation program you used on this but it runs smooth as hell. Where in the world did you get all of those pictures of dirty, apocalyptic-looking industrial places? This movie goes to show clearly how it's the little things that make something big. Ah now I know, you had photographer friends working on this, I could tell, the photos are very nice and clear dude, awesome job.
