Quinn Lincoln, about time.

I wrote this review as I watched the movie. You finally added some voices and some motion in your drawings, nice. It was about time you made some improvement, just don't let it get to your head. A lot of the movie consists of the two dudes walking and talking to one another. Don't scream into your mic it rattles the reception and ruins the sound quality. You won me over with the pulp fiction theme, I had to give you a 3/5 because I did like the movie, it wasn't awe-inspiring but it was pretty good, this one actually seemed to have a plot and some length unlike the others. You couldn't do this all by yourself though, it shows. Your solo movies are pretty weak, this one isn't bad, of course it wasn't just made by you though. Next time, learn to apprecaite works for their true value and labor put into them instead of talking shit bro.

Stoned-Gorilla responds:

what the hell are you talking about. most of my movies have voices now. are you comparing this to my EXTREMELY old movies/peices of shit. I could easily do this by myself jackass, my friend and I do voices, and we both "ghetto'd" up the script together. It's pretty easy to do more than two voices; and to add phrases like 'yo yo yo' to a movie.

Another stick fight.

At least this flash had a pre-loader. The fact that you used sticks wasn't vey impressive at all. You at least gave the sticks faces, I'll give you a point in graphics for that, however, you have a bad habit at not using voice-overs or getting yourself a mic for movies that require voice-acting to boost their score, and you also use a lot of matrix-rop-off moves, which also drops it down. Your musical choice also isn't very fitting with what's going on in the movie Mr. Quinn Lincoln.

Stoned-Gorilla responds:

i must have angered you at sometime; because this is the 3rd movie i've seen you review of mine. The funny thing is, you seem to finding all my very worst movies and reviewing them; I hope that makes you feel better at night.

DBZ is nothing good to be associated with.

You know, you could at least bother to add a damn play button you worthless excuse for an animator. It sucks how you claim to have superiority over other animators yet your flashes themselves have nothing to show for your words, in fact, they're even bigger pieces of shit than the excrement that spews from the gaping hole in your face that you call a mouth. You could at least try adding some text, however all you add are some weak drawings with some cheap morphing movements, and sticks in one part. Your movie doesn't even have any plot, it just stinks and it shows no improvement over your other movies.

Stoned-Gorilla responds:

look at the date of the movie made. Do the math, idiot. Of course it shows no improvement, since it was ONE OF MY FIRST MOVIES.

C'mon dude.

This was pretty weak. Your characters weren't drawn all that horribly, however, they could have used more movement, a lot more movement. Overall the movie was pointless, didn't go anywhere and didn't really get any laughs out of me despite it trying to be funny, it failed miserably.

Stoned-Gorilla responds:

and one more of your reviews to respond to.. this movie wasn't made for you to laugh. This movie was made to piss of as many people as I could during the time that this was made; so I made as many damon movies as I could in a short amount of time, before the original 'For Damon' movie slipped out of everyone's memory.

It's difficult to accurately score this.

Hm, it had some originality and humor in it, I'll give you that. This was pretty interesting to watch but it was a bit short. It was nice for what it was though, a short and humorous flash.

Gotzen-Dammerung responds:

How bout giving it an overall rating of 10, and a "Woot!!! All my 5 R belong to this" huh?

A good clock movie! What a rare gem!

I absolutely hate text-so-speech programs, however, this was done extremely well. This had a good amount of humor, even the 555-5555 part cracked me up. What was the best was that this wasn't another crappy, lazy, poorly-made flash with a bunch of text-to-speech cursing crammed in it. It shows that you took time on this one, and it is appreciated. This is much better than the lazy Honey Roasted Peanut 2 flash. To tell you the truth even all of the different clock items looked interesting in the credits, good job dude. Just goes to show that you can use a speech program and still make a kick-ass flash.

ReporterClock responds:

Thanks! =D Glad you liked it!
And not all clock movies are bad.

even I hate the short, pointless, full of cursing ones.

Ah, good one.

Wow I didn't know John played wireless and had pics of clowns and Michael Jackson in his house, or that he had a strange version of Alien Hominid in his house with a Game Over screen that I had never seen before. Anyway, this was a pretty funny flash, one girl even had a guy's voice for some reason or another. Loved the shooting rampage also, nice work.

sjoert responds:

hahahaha there was only one girl in the movie Sep, and it's Tom not John. Come to think of it I should've had a good looking chick with a bass male voice in it.

Thanks for your review!!!

fun fact: I also had a midget Mr. T but it didn't work out

Merry Christmas to you too.

To BozoHimself: This won't be blammed, so now who looks like the bigger idiot?

Anyway... I'm glad the present wasn't a stupid-ass scarry face with a cheesy scream. The Santa Claus was animated pretty nicely I have to admit. The music quality in this was ok, moreso I like how you kept the video short but sweet, not bad at all bro.

Wonderer responds:

Here is the honorable judge. thank you for your honorable score ;)

Very nice for your first time around.

Hm strange thing about this pre-loader... the bar was full blue all the time, but the browser bar was actually the one showing the loading. You also said in your Author's notes: "This is my first flash movie (It's also a sprite movie) so don't expect too much from it. " How could you put down the caliber of some sprite movies like that? Rise of the MK is a great sprite flash, and Rigo's (Cheveloco) Megaman Final Battle and Bass' Revenge series is amongst some of the best sprite animation I have ever seen. You could even check out my bro and I's flash in NG under the name of "Kingdom Sprites" (I don't think it's anywhere near as good as Cheveloco's stuff though).

Anyway, the movie: Right off the bat you need to slow down the scrolling text in the intro. The paper piece with the text was a nice effect but it goes by way too fast. Next thing, you added a Crystal Chronicles song, you lose huge points on adding song from such a shameful game with such shameful music (yes I had a bad experience with that retarded FF for GC). In addition the fighting is much too fast-paced and repetitive. I have to admit though, your movie has some excellent effects like characters that have facial expressions and some pretty nice backgrounds. You even have a lil' Final Fantasy-ish map laid out and labeled, very nice. I have to frown upon you for using Sephiroth as a sort of summon... it's pretty tacky. At first I thought the flash me n' my bro made was a bit saturated in Final Fantasy music (even though Uematsu's compositions kick ass) but you clearly over-did it. All in all I have to hand it to you, pretty decent first-flash, just make sure you keep little defects in check, it's the little things that amount to something big and avoid repetition as much as possible. Oh one more thing, I noticed that you crammed quite a lengthy feature into the flash, awesome compression, I can't thank you enough for that.

Killit666 responds:

Thanks for your opinion. I tried my best.

Funny, pretty funny.

You kind of over-did it at the end, but... This had a pretty unique sense of humor to it. As loud as the audio was in some bits, I'm amazed the mic dealt with it so well, nice job on recording that. You get a pretty good score on this from me because it was a bit funny. I think I know which comercial you're trying to mock, sounds like the California cheese one with the "Ah, the power of cheese" catchphrase.

TJ responds:

Yes, you speak of the correct catchphrase. My mic did not last very long after this cartoon, RIP my little mic.

Till Kingdom Sprites come.
