At last!!! At long last!!!

House Wars yaay! I have waited so long for the 2nd episode. Too long have I waited for the next episode. The ingenious script, the clever script, animation style and characters. The bubble bobble rap beat was hillarious. In all honesty dude, if you design your own music, sfx, and pretty much... everything from scratch, you have got to be one of the best animators out there. Your cartoons don't have to look top-of-the-line good in order for you to be a great flash artist, you put good work into your animations and it shows. I enjoyed the freestyle at the end of the animation btw. I'm already excited about House wars Ep 3, keep up the awesome work.

Hey Enraged Sephiroth (I love FF7 too)! Sorry about the long wait for episode 2, but I had finals to worry about and then I took a vacation in NY! But as soon as I got back I began work on the episode and the rest is his-story. Thanks for the great compliments. It definitely is more rewarding to come up with your own voice, music, and sound efx. I'll admit.. that when i first started out, i checked out FlashKit to see what all the hype was about. Well, there's nothing there that sounds really good... not for house appliances anyway. Recording my own sounds is gratifying and makes for better quality anyhow. I'm glad you're "so excited and you just can't hide it!" Till next episode, dude. =)

Promising title.

I liked your custom-made pre-loader although it was a little confusing in regards to how far the bar will stretch out. You might have intended for the users to not miss the text, that could be one reason for why you made the text box a button, but I really hate having to click again and again in order to make the movie progress. The battle style was cliche more than anything, it had a bit of originality but it wasn't really even reminiscient of the characters' original moves from Chrono Trigger. Furthermore, What in the world was the blade used in the end by Glen/Frog/Captain Ginyu (from DBZ, the Chrono Trigger characters WERE designed by Akira Toriyama you know, so... notice the resemblance)? The flash seemed to end suddenly and it lacked a lot of content, this fight could have been done a bit better. It's not all that bad for your first flash but, keep at it, you should improve with more experience. If you have the time Shadow 4102, check out me n' my bro's first flash called "Kingdom Sprites" also featured here on Newgrounds, it could use some more votes and reviews so I'm looking foward to perhaps seeing a review from you in it.

Shadow-4102 responds:

The sword was handmade by no company, Just my big brother and his friend.

Not too shabby.

Hehe, the opening song is actually quite funny. The way you drew your character looks pretty nice and original thus far, that's a good way to develop your own sense of style and originality rather than draw some cliche character that looks like something generic out of a generic flash. I'd say this was pretty short, but pretty sweet for a first flash. Don't be upset if it gets blammed, you'll get better with practice. As far as I'm concerned, I liked it.

Ardiztigo responds:

thanks =) Actually, i´m suprised that i got even this good ratings! =´)

Once you've seen the original, you can't go back.

Damn, this is like a bad bootleg of the original cartoon. It's similar to the original in some ways, but it's too-detatched in others. The voice-acting could have been done a lot better, at least the impressions I make sound more-accurate :/ your characters sound middle-eastern at one point, at another point Butthead sounds and looks like a stoned Popeye. The animation was decent in some parts, and not-so-decent in others, like when Beavis took the chainsaw to the tree.

RogerregoRRoger responds:

Oky ^^;;
Stoned popeye is cool ^^;;
I wouldn't dare to say i think i can draw beavis and butthead..They're to damn ugly ^^;;

Hate the song, love the flash.

I'm just about fed up with that song. Your use of sprites was ingenious. If I may correct you: Duck King actually originated in the Fatal Fury series (also produced by NeoGeo/SNK). Duck King showed up at a later time in King of Fighters (NeoGeo/SNK). Anyway, sexy sprites dude, loved all the variations you used with Mai. Great job incorporating the sprites into the movie in order to make them look like they were dancing. The dancing Michael Jackson sprite was especially funny.

VicHD responds:

I've played the fatal fury games before, you don't have to remind me. besides,I just forgot to mention it. NeoGeo/SNK was, and still is, an awesome rival to Capcom.

thanks for your comments

Not too bad, not too good.

You said "please (X4) Review this!!!!" with some failed html tags, so ok. I was going to review it anyway. This movie was too plain in the beginning, the scream was very annoying and I didn't really get the point in Neo's hair growing out of his head like that. The Mr. Smith bit was pretty funny with Norton and everything. Make sure a Symantec representative doesn't see you using the Norton name, I'll avoid giving you a whistle because it looks like you tried your best to make this so I'll rate it fairly. Despite your efforts at making this funny, you failed, I'm sorry to say so. Keep trying, you'll get better.

FilamentProductions responds:

I know the HTML tags didn't work, I used them for importance.

Eh, s'ok.

To tell you the truth, that camera thing was pretty creepy. The whole movie was a tad pointless, but a bit creepy none the less. You should have made it longer bro >:\ that cost you points for lack of content.

SergeantLedge responds:

Hey, if you want more check out my other three! Thanks for the review though! ;)

Awesome flash.

Despite the obvious lack of quality in animation and drawings, this flash was a blast to watch never the less. The music that you used was great, at first I couldn't quite place my finger on it (I knew it was from an RPG I had played before) and then it came to me, it's from early on in Super Mario RPG: Legend of The Seven Stars. Needless to say, the music was perfect for the epic style of the flash. The movie even had a good sense of humor; I laughed especially in the bit towards the end where the dude imagines himself diving into the flame. People who give this flash a low score do so because they judge on other merits such as looks, and they don't care so much for ingenuity, but I'm here to tell you that I thoroughly enjoyed watching this. It would help if you improved your drawing skills a bit, however, it's not only drawings that make the flash, it could look like heaven and still go nowhere and just plain suck. Fortunately for me, yours doesn't suck.

howelone responds:

Thank you for your extensive review of my animation. I strongly believe that hardwork, regardless of anything will pay off. And, despite my beginner animating skills I worked very hard on this flash (everyday for several months). I'm very happy that you liked it!
Sorry about late response, I wasn't aware that I could respond until now.. many months later.

Kill em' All!

More angsty music. I have to admit, the angsty music fits in to the point of the video. It looks like you got kinda lazy towards the ending of the movie where you were just putting text saying "Destroy, maim, torture, well done, you have served us well... etc." But anyway, I especially liked how you created your own jumbo sprites, that was very interesting to watch, especially the dude typing on the computer. Nice job.

Commanderswat responds:

Well, being lazy at the end is kinda true and kinda not. My computer really doesn't have a great cpu or mem so the farther I got into the movie the harder and harder it was to move things, preivew, test, ect. Though if I did have that power I prolly wouldn't have done too much extra. Thanks for the review.

Poop looks pretty good right about now.

Wow that baby recording was so loud that it screeched on the mic. The animation quality was pretty poor, especially the way Mike's lips moved like a bad chinese flick (regardless of the voice). As the movie went on, the bitrate eventually dragged further and further behind the voices. You need to watch the movie as you do the voices, that ruins the animation and sound quality. The movie had an ok sense of humor but the animation and lag behind the animation ruined most of the laughs.

Grandsmackeding responds:

holy crap it synchs up fine on my computer after watching it for myself on newgrounds i see what you mean. if it passes judgement i'll do something about the audio to make it webviewable
