Hm, based on the work that I've seen so far, I have been able to infer this: you all should consider directing a movie, togheter, a real one, doesn't matter if it's low-budget, you have great skills in story design/development, the same goes for plot, drawing, musical integration, and originality. With the right kind of people, I could most-definitley see you all going places. I must say I have been put in a state of awe by your past two flashes that I have seen, for how simple-yet-detailed the drawings are and how sensually-numb ,and at the same time sensitive, the story can get. The only thing your movie may lack is some voice acting, that would make it a blast, however, the comic book style also does it just fine for me.

Hm good serious tone.

The comicbook style in this animation is extremely fresh. This is my first time seeing anything having to do with this series but it looks like I've missed out on a good deal. The two military dudes look like Guile and Charlie taht would be stating the obvious though. I can't say the animation is very exciting (what ever little animation there is_ but the drawings are done very well. I can't stress enough how much I love the comic book style. What's funny is that the liutenants got him in some Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit wrestling moves (an ankle lock and a cross-face crippler). The music in this flash was integrated very well into the ocurrences. This was done very well, I commend you on your comic book style of drawing. No matter what others say about your style of animation or how this movie may not seem to "come together" with the others, regardless of that, this was still a very good flash.

Ok I know where you're coming from.

So you're depressed because you broke up with your girlfriend and you need some sort of creative outlet to vent your rage/depression/heartbreak right? Well I hoped you got it out bro, I know exactly how you feel, however, I don't go and drag everyone else down with me. Your flash didn't necessarily drag me down, it didn't do much at all actually (that's why I gave it a low score) but it was actually just chuck-full of emo (more than I could tolerate) so I felt compelled to let you know what your friends are always there to give you a swift kick in the ass if you can't get over it, I know I needed one. Anyway, get over it, practice your flash, and start raising your batting average for your flash movies.

Awesome flash.

Despite the obvious lack of quality in animation and drawings, this flash was a blast to watch never the less. The music that you used was great, at first I couldn't quite place my finger on it (I knew it was from an RPG I had played before) and then it came to me, it's from early on in Super Mario RPG: Legend of The Seven Stars. Needless to say, the music was perfect for the epic style of the flash. The movie even had a good sense of humor; I laughed especially in the bit towards the end where the dude imagines himself diving into the flame. People who give this flash a low score do so because they judge on other merits such as looks, and they don't care so much for ingenuity, but I'm here to tell you that I thoroughly enjoyed watching this. It would help if you improved your drawing skills a bit, however, it's not only drawings that make the flash, it could look like heaven and still go nowhere and just plain suck. Fortunately for me, yours doesn't suck.

Thank you for your extensive review of my animation. I strongly believe that hardwork, regardless of anything will pay off. And, despite my beginner animating skills I worked very hard on this flash (everyday for several months). I'm very happy that you liked it!
Sorry about late response, I wasn't aware that I could respond until now.. many months later.

Kill em' All!

More angsty music. I have to admit, the angsty music fits in to the point of the video. It looks like you got kinda lazy towards the ending of the movie where you were just putting text saying "Destroy, maim, torture, well done, you have served us well... etc." But anyway, I especially liked how you created your own jumbo sprites, that was very interesting to watch, especially the dude typing on the computer. Nice job.

Commanderswat responds:

Well, being lazy at the end is kinda true and kinda not. My computer really doesn't have a great cpu or mem so the farther I got into the movie the harder and harder it was to move things, preivew, test, ect. Though if I did have that power I prolly wouldn't have done too much extra. Thanks for the review.

Nice skills thus far.

I will not be merciful because this is your first flash, but I shal be fair because it is a good flash. The style in this was pretty nice, I liked the ending as well as the action, it was well-paced for the most part. The drawing weren't anything too flashy, but that's ok the greatness of a flash doesn't just depend on looks. The sound consisted of only the song. Although the song seemed pretty nice, it was all too angsty for my taste like a lot of other angsty music that's added into flash movies. All in all this was good, I enjoyed watching it. I know you'll get better as you keep improving and refining your skills as a flash artist. Best of luck to you.

T'was ok.

The drawing style was average, not too shabby, not too lazy. The sounds were incorporated pretty well too. The humor in this was pretty nice and the little action there was, was appreciated. I especially liked the bit where the characters start talking about DBZ and how it's overrated. That bit was especially funny because it's true.

Not too shabby.

The drawings were well-done on this animation. I especially liked how you grouped the lines very nicely on the mech that you drew, it looked very hardcore. One of the guys in the animation (the blond one) actually looked like Millions Knives from Trigun. Anyway, good flick, pleasing to the eyes, nice job.

Poop looks pretty good right about now.

Wow that baby recording was so loud that it screeched on the mic. The animation quality was pretty poor, especially the way Mike's lips moved like a bad chinese flick (regardless of the voice). As the movie went on, the bitrate eventually dragged further and further behind the voices. You need to watch the movie as you do the voices, that ruins the animation and sound quality. The movie had an ok sense of humor but the animation and lag behind the animation ruined most of the laughs.

holy crap it synchs up fine on my computer after watching it for myself on newgrounds i see what you mean. if it passes judgement i'll do something about the audio to make it webviewable

Keep at it.

Someone Repo-ed an igloo? This animation was pretty funny and pretty sad at the same time. So since this is a saga and this is the first episode, I'll be expecting the next ones along with some improvements. Keep it up and you'll pwn the portal some day. The music track was what gave the movie a bit of a sad feel to it, but other than that it was actually quite humorous in the way that you made it.
