Ripping-good laugh.

Freakin' nice parody, it didn't even look as corny as other nutshell parodies I've seen. It did most of the game justice and the humor wasn't tasteless at all, I commend you on this proper piece of parodious work.

RogerregoRRoger responds:

Right.
I'm glad you liked it then

Not too shabby.

Taking a creative spin on the story I see, not bad at all. I'm particularly fond of some of the battle-effects you used, as well as the sound-effects. Make sure to keep improving yourself and your flashes will gradually kick more and more ass with time.

Tootbook responds:

yes! ... will they? find out next time...on newgrounds DOT COM LOL

Nice work.

You could have stretched the joke a bit further but yea... I feel the same way about people who drive while talking on their phones and don't know what's going on around them, stick it to em.

thedak responds:

hahah, they're annoying aren't they?

Looks promising.

I don't understand why you decided to call the ant dante, and the whole hero with the red bandanna thing is a bit cliche but... eh whatever floats your boat, just keep in mind that "originality is key." Aside from that, this looks like a very promising flash, I'm looking foward too it, keep up the funny expressions on the characters too, it might just become your bread and butter.

muppetmaster responds:

The ant is called Dante because that's the first name I thought of, just so happens "ant" is inside the name.
Thanks for the review.

Oh boy.

See, now this is exactly the kind of flash that proves you don't need kick-ass animation to make a decent (or in this case a good) flash movie. The sounds were very nice and clear, no mic static and no badly-recorded sounds. I enjoyed watching this movie all the way through, the calm voice-over added humor to the sometimes-brutal storyline. There's something very humorous about a duck injecting itself with steroids and then drooling madly as it overdoses. Once again, I really enjoyed this flash thank you Jeffrey Davis, keep up the good work.

boinky33 responds:

No, thank you. That is the best review I have ever gotten for any of my cartoons.

Pretty decent clay-mation flick.

it was enjoyable to watch. My only major gripe was some of the sound quality. Sometimes your voice came in a little low, and other times it came on so strong it caused the mic to crackle, work that out in your future flash animations and it should improve scores. Nice job.

KlydeTheKoopa responds:

the sound is fixed

Eh it was cut short.

I don't even think the song was over and the video cut suddenly x.x plus it was also weird, but just keep working on your flash skills, your work will improve with practice.

Marcomatic responds:

No, it wasn't cut short. That was the ending... A cliffhanger, get it? I know it seemed incomplete, but you see, the song repeats itself, so if you want me to "complete it" you'll be here for eternity.

Eh.

Well it's a good premise, just keep working on your flash skills.

Ryan-Smith responds:

I will, maybe...

Laughable.

Loved the head-banging Beavis sprite in the "Gay Bar" scene. If you had added some "boom" to the speakers it would have helped out a lot. I don't know what's up with the walking guy, it just looks like Ryu with a t-shirt and blue jeans walking down some repeating scenery. Your choice of music is pretty funny I had to admit. The last bit with the answering machine and the sound bit from Seinfeld was pretty lame, you could have done something better (I hope) but anyway, it was interesting to watch, I look foward to seeing your skills develop with your sense of humor.

THHHHANKSSSSS

Nein.

The fact that you drew all this by yourself is commendable, however, this does not meet the criteria for flash, all you did was incorporate an animation into flash that's like... going out and recording some live footage and then adding it to flash, it just doesn't work, claymation barely even passes. The lyrics were pretty distasteful rather than being comical. The singing voice was also very distorted, could barely be heard over the music, and required no talent to "sing" what so ever. I thought this would be a proper animation, it didn't matter if it poked fun at Abe Lincoln or not, but this was just retarded.

von-Brunk responds:

Don't worry, the feature length Abe cartoon coming soon is a lot better, faster, and nicer quality.
